Biblical Christianity

We believe that The Holy Bible, containing the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the only sufficient, certain, and infallible rule of all saving knowledge, faith, and obedience. Everything essential for God's glory and man’s salvation, faith, and life is either explicitly stated or by necessary inference contained in the Holy Scriptures. We believe that the supreme judge for deciding all religious controversies and for evaluating all decrees of councils, opinions of ancient writers, human teachings, and individual interpretations, and in whose judgment we are to rest, is nothing but the Holy Scripture delivered by the Spirit. In this Scripture our faith finds its final word.

Historic Christianity

We believe that the most important beliefs our church holds are not those things which distinguish us from other churches, but rather, are those things which we share in common with them. Thus, we whole heartedly embrace the historic christian faith as articulated in the Apostles', Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds, as well as the historic christian teaching on marriage, masculinity, femininity, sexuality, and the sacredness of human life from conception to death, as articulated in the Baptist Faith & Message (2000), the Danvers Statement, and the Nashville Statement.

Reformed Christianity

We believe that the Reformed Tradition is the most biblical and healthy expression of Christianity, both in doctrine and in practice. As a church, we hold to the "regulative principle”, meaning that the elements of our worship are derived solely from what the Bible specifically prescribes. Our pastors believe and teach the entire Bible, as summarized in the London Baptist Confession of 1689: one of the great confessions that came out of the Protestant Reformation.
